Eddie Bauer Play Yards Recalled by Dorel Juvenile Group Due to Suffocation Hazard

Consumers should immediately stop using the bassinet portion of the play yard and contact Dorel Juvenile Group. The bassinet portion of the play yard can tip excessively, causing an infant to roll to one side. The infant's face can become wedged in the corner, presenting a suffocation hazard. There have been 10 reports of infants rolling to the side of the bassinet attachment when it tipped. No injuries have been reported. The Eddie Bauer Soothe & Sway Play Yard is portable and was sold with a bassinet, built-in changing station and a mobile with three teddy bears. The recall involves play yards manufactured prior to December 1, 2008. The model number and date code (in a 6 digit YY/MM/DD format) are stamped on a sticker on the bottom side of the play yard on the support leg. Please do not return your play yard to the store where you purchased it.
